Very pretty to look at, and great gameplay. It looks good without killing the framerate. Gameplay is unique due to the angled walls, it inspires new tactics. A lot of fun to play. --------------------------- DB-Optimized03 by FineWolf & Optimal --------------------------- This is a wide open map ideal for 6-12 players. Looks good and has excellent gameplay. The thing I love most about this map is the incredible explosion that occurs whenever a goal is scored. ---------------------- DB-Old-Smallcube by DavidM ---------------------- This is the original Deathball 1.6 version of DB-Smallcube. I updated it for full compatibilty with DB 1.7 and up. ------------------- DB-SmallTribun by MClane ------------------- This is the original Deathball 1.6 version of DB-Tribun. After some thought, I decided to make a DM version just for the heck of it. This map is OK for deathmatch, but it works really well for Invasion mode, as it is very open. After getting DM-AA-Mesa reviewed at Insite (courtesy of Homeslice), I did further work to improve the weak points of the map, mainly being the lack of visual flare. I ended up adding a few more ruins, some trees, bushes, and an oasis. I personally feel it looks a lot nicer now. In addition to the visual changes, Iīve tweaked the gameplay as well. Iīve given the bot pathnodes a little more work, so they can traverse the terrain more effectively now. Iīve added both a Megahealth pack and a Redeemer to the level, both are easy to reach. The double damage is still in its hard-to-reach location atop the pyramid, but the bots are now able to get it. This version is pretty good for DM now, though it still is best for Invasion.
